Studio.5

For my graduation project, Studio.5, I researched the fashion show of the future, envisioning what a digital fashion show might look like in 2050. This project combined my love for design, fashion, and architecture, as I conducted in-depth research into the creation and evolution of fashion shows. I explored innovation techniques, industry developments, and the hopes and expectations of consumers to imagine how fashion presentations could evolve.

Studio.5 was showcased at the Now Show 2024 at St. Joost School of Art & Design as part of the Design class of 2024, where I had the opportunity to share this vision for the future of fashion.

We fast forward to the year 2050.
Lola, twenty years old, opens her laptop. She is about to attend Studio .5’s digital fashion show. In a short film, we join the show through her eyes. We observe her customer journey from start to finish.

This design is speculative in nature, offering a glimpse into the future based on research, sketches, prototypes, and my own vision of the subject.

It paints a picture of a future that may be questioned. It aims to evoke emotions and trigger a dialogue about the digitization of the creative field and its output, the role of the creator, and most importantly, the role of the user and consumer.

Are we ready for our digital future?
